Size does matter when choosing the perfect party venue

Staging a successful party depends on several different elements and one of the most crucial is ensuring that the venue is the right size. A small crowd in a massive room has no atmosphere and a big crowd in a small room is uncomfortable, but the right size venue works every time.

So how do you get it right?

These are the things you need to consider when matching your party to a venue. Start by making a guest list and once you know how many guests that will be attending you will get a good guide as to your venue size. The perfect space for a party is about ambience and atmosphere. Stunning views, a combination of indoor, outdoor and unique surroundings can all contribute to how your guests will enjoy the party. Characterless rooms may be functional but tend to make a party boring. When assessing venues imagine how the venue will work, is it interesting does it lend itself to the any theme. Unique venues sometimes will dictate the theme of your party as they may be already themed, and you only need to enhance what is already at the venue. If the venue is themed Tropical you wouldn’t try and create a Medieval party, so working with the theme of the venue always works.

The best Parties are in venues that encourage a social atmosphere. If the size is way to big you could always look of ways to reduce space such as pool table, and bringing in furniture to make the spaces tighter.
